DEFINITION AND FUNDAMENTAL PRAYERS OF ALEVISM (IN THE CONTEXT OF THE KUREYŞAN OCAK) ALEVİLİĞİN TANIMI VE TEMEL İBADETLERİ (KUREYŞAN OCAĞI ÖZELİNDE)

In this study, information is given about the various prayers of the Alevi faith and the rules tobe followed during these prayers in the Kureyşan ocak, living in the Tunceli/Dersim region.First of all, the answers of these "ocak" members to the question "what is Alevism" arementioned. Then, in the context of the Kureyşan ocak, the basic prayers of the Alevismfaith are mentioned. Of course, in this ocak also, as in most ocaks, some rituals that usedto be meticulously practiced are no longer practiced. There have also been changes in somerituals. In the article, there are prayers and rituals of Alevism conveyed by the members of theKureyşan ocak. For example, what is the purpose of pīr and rayver visiting their tālips? Howdo these visits take place? How were cem rituals performed in the past? What is consideredwhile fasting the Twelve Imams and visiting awliyāʾ (saints) places? What changes haveoccurred in death ceremonies compared to the past?
